Why we started CallaTool
Finding a plumber, electrician or locksmith you can actually trust usually means asking around, hoping for a recommendation, and crossing your fingers. On the other side, skilled tradespeople often struggle to find consistent work beyond word of mouth.
CallaTool exists to fix both problems at once: a simple way for customers to post a job and compare quotes from verified, reviewed local pros, and a simple way for tradespeople to pick up nearby job leads without spending on marketing.
What we stand for
- Verification that means something. Tradespeople can be verified with supporting documents before they're marked as such on their profile.
- Real reviews. Reviews are tied to completed jobs, not bought or self-posted.
- Fair to both sides. Clear pricing, no hidden fees sprung on either the customer or the tradesperson.

How we work
Tradespeople on CallaTool are independent contractors - we provide the platform for discovery, quoting, messaging and reviews, not the labour itself.
Tradespeople can submit documents for review, and their track record - ratings, response rate, completed jobs - shapes how they're shown to nearby customers.
